blu Marble is a large-scale art installation in New York’s west side that exhibits Earth using NASA geo-stationary satellite images. We developed the front-end UI (Touch Designer) and back-end software (Python) that communicates with NASA’s API. In the words on the artist, Sebastian Errazuriz: “This contemplative work offers new perspective on our existence and hopes to help humanity make positive change. blu Marble is a reminder of our miraculously fragile existence.
